SHORT PLAYS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
All published by Stagescripts Ltd.
Short Plays for Young People have been used for many years in schools and evening classes to introduce young people aged from eight to sixteen to the performance of plays and pantomimes - and people of more advanced years have had fun with them too. These short pieces are simple to produce, with basic costumes and the minimum of properties. “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and “The Great Christmas Pudding Recipe Robbery” have small casts, with only “The Pied Piper” requiring a larger number of performers. All can easily be performed in a classroom or on a stage, and could be produced as separate items or put on together as a complete evening of entertainment.
